WinRar is usually my program of choice ( @ the 40 day limit), but I have used 7zip lately...

eh, most of their work has been done already tho...plus they realize some of their competitors offer similar products for free.I'm very proficient in the cracking territory but I usually choose not to.....
The point of me laughing is that they impose a 40 day limit but all you get is a message box that says the trial is up. It's still fully functional ... And if you use it from explorer, you don't see shyt. They're probably not making a dime because of their lax licensing

as someone who did some work in the field of data compression, I can tell you theres not much improvement out there left for lossless compression. their algorithms are pretty much the same ones as 10 years ago.
