my bad she corrected me and said Missouri Ave but it’s still close to the red line.

Ironic, Missourri Ave is a neighborhood that has beef with mine. From 9th and Missourri to 13th and Missouri, that area used to be a drug strip. It's nothing but hispanics and ethopians over there.

update****

landlord allowed me to break lease with 30 days notice and 90% of one months worth of rent... I plan to inform her this week that I will be leaving late August.
I hope I dont have to pay August rent & pay the termination fee:francis:

44 bricks...acre shaker
My ceiling literally caved in the other night due to leakage from the toilet above my apartment and have a pest/rodent issue that appears to be occurring for multiple residents in my building. Trying to see if I have any recourse for leaving without paying penalty fee. :francis:
get a city inspector to come out n inspect it...get a copy of the incident report..

document everything...

if they dont move u or help u move... find another spot..then sue the complex...for any damages n cost to move...n mental anguish issues that came with it...

then jus get a house..

get these nets

Not a bad update.
Get whatever she said in writing, including what happens to your security deposit.

Get some large contractor bags, follow the trash guidelines/bulk days for your city, and start throwing your unwanted stuff away this week. Because of bug problem, some of your stuff has to go or else you'll bring bugs to your next place.
You have a funny style landlord, so get the placed cleaned/cleared out and watch out for "bu bu bu but the carpet" about your deposit.

30 day notice is good in terms of getting out, but can you find decent spot in that amount of time?

Yeah I have everything documented in emails. I cleaned tf out this place this past weekend and threw away a large majority of all my clothes and bedding materials. The stuff I am taking was either with me when I was away at hotels or has been triple washed already. I just need to break down this damn IKEA bed and move the 55inch TV in the living room. I have a couples places in mind of where Im going but I plan to do month to month or 6-8 month lease as I plan to get a townhome in the area. I doubt I get the security deposit back, the carpets are fawked:francis:. Appreciate the advise fam
