i only saw the suicide bomber one. these imam-type authority figures preying on the young, impressionable, illiterate yet highly religious kids...goddamn man.
it was sad. it was also frustrating to watch cuz I know how ridiculous getting into paradise/heaven by killing yourself and a bunch of innocent people sounds like...but i guess most of those kids that they strap bombs to really don't know any better. i mean, even if they think it's wrong in their hearts, they've still been taught otherwise...by people they look up to.
it's fukked up.

It's crazy how much access they can get. The first episode was very compelling and the second on was a great overview of the impending clusterfukk that is Pakistan.

I saw the first ep by chance, because HBO dropped it into their youtube subscription account. I couldn't stop watching it after a couple minutes.

But the innocent children, whom are persuaded, into committing acts of Jihad, are beyond gut wrenching. It almost make me want to reevaluate, the US presence in the middle east. It's insane, how people on the same planet can live worlds apart. And that "going to paradise" line

I saw the first episode on suicide bombers. They had too much footage of exploded bodies. I like how they zoomed in on thats head laying on the ground

i avoided because i didnt like the douchebag hipster vibe of some of their other stuff, but it also makes sense that HBO is a good influence on them to bring their A game. i might have to check this stuff out.
