You gotta bit crush (or in ableton use the Redux) then low pass it, so you basically degraded the sample but you lose all the high end digital artifacts. Then you put it thru some tape saturation to taste... do it for the right drums and it makes them sooo crunchy gyot damn

I was really feeling this. Think it needs some more interesting development thruout to to give it more character. And add some dustiness to it, however your style allows. I don't want it to sound too much like mine but it should be comparable in style. I'm working all weekend, but I've got something I'm cooking up that I'll send you later on

That's what I'm saying, I could make it 8 bitted out, with interludes and skits and shyt, but I felt like that was just cold biting MF DOOM/Madlib

I think it's just literally the style that i'm going for, and those 2 do it really well/pioneered that sound. I'm doing some nuances tho, but for the most part i want it to sound like htem ON purpose
