Any other Overnight workers in here?

Come share my pain. Starting to realize I can only work overnight another year or two.

Common cons include
- I get off at 5 am almost everything is closed you want to run errands or go to a restaurant and your assed out
-Girls texting me during regular hours thinking I'm ignoring them but I'm asleep
-Me texting girls during my 12 am and 2 am breaks and them thinking I'm trying to get a booty call
-Dead tired in the middle of the day and awake in the middle of the night
-Hard making plans with people unless its my off days.
-Being tired for school and my second job.
-Miss a bunch of events/parties/tv etc
-Harder to work out

There are some Pros though
-no management/customers
-save more money/higher pay
-more quiet
-If your working 12's you have more freedom than a 9 to 5 er.
-no traffic
-Always have an excuse to chicks of why your busy

Did that in college at a supermarket.
And I think for a few months at a CVS in my early 20s.

It's tough.
But after working the overnight shift, I finally understood why people would drink beers at 7am.

but im in vegas so some stores and restaurants are still open

i worked actual graveyard 12am-8am for 9 months and felt like i was going to die

been on a nocturnal sleep schedule since I was like 13.

If I wasn't at work, I'd be up all night anyway.

im a nocturnal kind of guy so night shifts dont bother me, i mean, if most people can go to the club from 9pm to 5am in the morn, while dancing and standing up for hours, you can deff work nights, drop the chicks and get on your hustle

I've been overnights for years. I had to work days 8-5 for a month for a training and hated life. its more convenient for me to do what i gotta do, go to the post office, ups store, grocery store, etc when i dont have to worry about them closing or being closed or rushing home from work. some times it sucks waiting for a place to open like some stores dont open until 10 or 9 and i just wait but its easier for me to live my life.

im home when ups or the mailman comes, so i dont miss deliveries...life is better to me as an overnight worker

just got off. w/ my career this is prolly gonna be my schedule for the rest of my life. always been a night owl though.

The worst though is the overnight workers who have to work every weekend. Before I had to work 11pm to 7am with only tues and weds off. Now I'm on a 2-2-3 with every other weekend off.

working every weekend overnight though is the literal worst.
