my great grandmother parents were passing as white people.
Took a look at my extended family tree and peep a bunch of cacs
Turns out that my great grandmothers mother hated black people and didn’t want blacks in the bloodline. But mama gigi loved her some chocolate and married a dark skin black man and created a bunch of chocolate sons and grand sons(one of them is my dad)
She was disowned by her parents for doing so.
I would’ve never thought this due to my granny being so problack.
This is similar to my family lmao.
My Great Great grandfather was white.
His family didn’t approve of his son who was mixed race now having children with a black woman lol. They didn’t fukk with the black folk like that...despite living in Jamaica.
