Any of you brehs ever heard of an anime/manga called Kimba the White Lion?

Just found out about it today. Disney straight copied the anime and renamed it Lion King. Didnt even have the decency to give credit to the mangaka and to this day deny ripping him off. Crazy how blatant it is.

From my understanding the two have very little similarities, other than terrain and some of the characters species. But it's Africa and the setting makes it difficult not to be similar in some respects

forreal. Nothing about Lion King is original. The story is fukking Hamlet by Shakespeare and the visuals are blatant Japanese ripoff. The music is original tho......but I think they just took African songs.
