There is landscape mode. Just not in the home screen and some of the google apps. You can root it to allow landscape anywhere you want though.

I got mine today and landscape works in chrome out the box. I don't know what some of the guys are talking about.

I've been playing around with mine for the past 5 hours

And yes, it has landscape mode. By default, it's locked on portrait. You can unlock it in the settings.

so ive bought two things with my google credit money

a game called Sprinkle its like where is my water but a bit more challenging $1

and a app called Tablet Talk you can send and recieve message and make phone calls right from your tablet via Bluetooth $3

also i installed a app called camera launcher for nexus 7, its free it just lets you record vid and take pic with the N7

This is for my daughter(7) so the SD card slot is probably gonna be more important than all the performance specs on the Nexus. Watching/Steaming Vids & playing games, is that quad core really gonna matter?

If the Nexus had a card slot, shyt would be a no-brainer.
