gixxer,im literally just learning the basics. my boy was showing me how to pop it into first from neutral and move forward with the clutch a bit and then put the bike into neutral to walk it back, backwards, no throttle play yet.

moving the throttle in neutral i was just like " fukk...... this thing could really fukk me up"

in a car, atleast the pedal forgives a bit and to really fukk yourself up it has to be all the way into the ground...

on a bike one wrong move on the throttle and your in a whole other world :dead:

after i got off the 600 i told myself theres no fukking way i can learn to ride properly on this missile, so bought my next boys 250 ninja of him IMMEDIATELY

working on hand positioning is even challenging. how the hell do you nikkas keep 2 fingers on the clutch lever and the brake lever all the time? :dahell:

my wrists were hurting 15 minutes in :dead:

so after a bunch of flops and fukkery i ended up with a 2014 1000 NINJA,

Im gonna die on this bike, how is it faster and lighter than a 600 :dead:

I can pick this bike up and move it around with ease :wow:

Also aprilia hasn't been producing large inventories as long as the other manufacturers. I've been seeing crazy deals on L7 gsx r1000s. Got me rubbing my hands together.

Also wouldn't mind an older repsol with that Marc Marquez colorway:banderas:

I'll be looking for a used RSV4 next spring, although the 1100 that is coming out is ridiculous with 217hp. You can't go wrong with any of liter bikes out now, they all are at the top of they game.

The Repsol paints were alway nice, I favored the '05 CBR1000RR Repsol Edition with the undertail exhaust

Congrats man, it's crazy how light and fast the liter bikes are. I made a thread awhile ago about the Ducati 1299 Superleggera , 215hp, 363lbs.

You thought you'd die on an R1 so you bought a zx10? :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Anyway, I think next winter I should be able to pick up a new l8 gsxr1000 abs for under 10k. Always swore to buy used bikes cash for under 5k but the bang for the buck on these new bikes can't really be beat

Copped my first bike. Long overdue, had my license for years.

Don't know what the weather is like where everyone is, in Ohio we are just getting through the March 30-40 degree temps. I gotta do clutches, sprocket and chain on my SuperHawk 996, just did sprocket and chain on my one CBR600, gotta pickup my friends CBR600 next month that I bought from him. Can't wait to put 2 wheels to the pavement again.

Picked up a new Shoei RF1200 and an HJC RPHA Monster's Inc.
Edition helmet. Gotta charge up the Sena 30K and I'm ready.

How long you had the superhawk @shutterguy ? always loved the vtwins sound and power delivery.

My bandit 12 in the shop gettin ready I abused the front end of that bike (fork seals and steering head bearings:snoop:).

klr650 keeping me sane

Bought it back in '01 with 3,500 miles on it, just turned 77K, been dead reliable, did regular maintenance and upgraded reg/rectifier. That sound and power got me hooked, it was the 1st time I rode a vtwin sportsbike.

Bandit 12 is nice, friend had an older one, comfortable and fast when needed.

make sure you stay safe on that breh. all the bike boyz around me have said that anyone that crashes on an r1/r6 always dies.

apparently their light as hell so acceleration+ collision = a nightmare combination.

True. I think I'm always going to fear it. But that's what's going to keep me from doing something stupid.
