I was wondering if anybody was looking into healthcare, pre-health like me?

I considered it but not sure if I can do the type of shift work EM requires. Im just not a nights and weekend person.
But I can see how it can be considered a lifestyle specialty plus its only 3 years of residency.

What's a "shift" exactly? Also how long does it take to get that 300k/year salary?

undergrad = 4 yrs + med school = 4 years = 8 years?

I’m currently working in biotech and debating going back to school for medicine physical therapy or DO . I’m 30. any advice ?

What don't you like about biotech? Honestly it does take seven years to become a physician however the rewards are immense. Make sure you're focused though.

What don't you like about biotech? Honestly it does take seven years to become a physician however the rewards are immense. Make sure you're focused though.

The politics. There is room for growth but it’s a very cut throat field. I have my bs in bio and feel like I should take a chance . Selling myself short otherwise i like the idea of taking care of patients more so than sitting in a lab wondering where the medicine we are making is going
