I am eventually moving to North Carolina where most of my family is and was thinking of having a roller coaster/ferris wheel/tilt a whirl(whichever is cheapest and then maybe just maybe another one) in my front yard/backyard/side of my house. Now if the house I'd be buying was like my grandmother's where it's a mile or so dirt road(her driveway) before you get to the house plus it's in the woods(not like scary movie woods but like the first part it's an open field, then the next part is the woods, then the last part you leave the wood part and it's a big open field on the front/back/and sides of the House), I could just buy the small roller coaster(like one you see at a fair, not like a crazy big roller coaster you see at six flags etc) and put it in the front yard/backyard/side of the house and be done with it being that as long as nobody has a drone and flies and sees it and snitches or posts it online and the police sees it, or the police goes down the mile road for whatever reason and sees it, or young family member rides it, tells a friend, I don't let them ride it and they snitches, no way I'd be found out about to have it seized/I'd have to sell it and get fined but in reality it would be a house where you'd be able to see it. I want to know if it's illegal to own in North Carolina. Yes I know the power it uses is A LOT, I know it's expensive to fix but I don't care so stick to the topic of if it's illegal and what I may have to have money wise to keep it legal. I know if I have neighbors I might have only certain hours I can use it etc

You would need really good insurance, and talent to run/maintain the rides because you WILL get sued. It doesn’t matter if only family uses it, one of them will figure that if you have enough to put an amusement park ride in Your yard you will have enough cash to involuntarily spread the wealth… ESPECIALLY North Carolinians.
