Above the fray.
OP,

when you said that you were white, I guessed Italian. When I first started shaving as a teen and going through razor bump phase I'd buy different products. They all said in the small booklet that bumps affects mostly Africans and Mediterranean whites.....(.italians & greeks) they even had italian guys in some of the ads.
Italians HATE hearing that.

hehehehe

hahaha

throw the wet shaving products out

your facial hair is naturally curly and coils easily... the challenge is to keep the hairs loose and free from curving back into your face as they grow

purchase either 2 buf puf facial sponges or 2 cheap electric toothbrushes
one for rubbing along your beard area with soap as you shower
one for dry rubbing along the beard area during the day

doing this consistently keeps the hairs loose and free from curving/hooking back into your skin as they grow

get set of new andis outliners to shave with---dry rub with buf puf or electric toothbrush before shaving to lift hairs away from skin

get good bottle of witch hazel or something similar as an aftershave

get bump cream(as you see from my setup..i use bumpstopper 2)

be consistent and you should get your face back in a month....fukk RAZOR BUMPS

I get the worst ingrown hairs on my neck, so I started wet shaving. It's helped but not completely. Besides the good shave, its also a meditative process. I dig it.

Anybody else deal with this ingrown hair shyt? Also, if you're into shaving, whats your set up?

Im using a 1950's Gillette super speed with blue blades, Cella soap, and a synthetic brush because im new to the game.
update?
