The most dangerous substance in anyones life because trying to kick this bish to the kerb will have you hittin high notes at 4AM like Kci talking bout "I can't leeeeeeeavvveeee you allooonnnneeeeeee, ya got me feeeeeeennniiinnnnnnnn!"

Its been added into absolutely everything from deli meats, protein bars, pasta sauce, canned beans and not to mention alcohol so reducing it also means you suddenly have to make a lot more stuff yourself in order to avoid it. Its harder to find things it isn't in than is, could it be a conspiracy? Keep em fat and coming back for more? Too doped up to see the scars?

Compared to benching caffeine (which I highly, highly recommend you do because the benefits are immense once your body resets) which I found pretty easy it appears that sugar wants to keep me in the trick bag because so much of our modern world is geared around it and thus getting rid of it involves a pretty huge shift.

Peep these when you get a chance:

I did l. 100%. My whole family did the same thing either. Maybe the only artificial sugar I get is from beer.

I have been doing it for the past four years. I drink black coffee no sugar

Speak on it. What differences did you notice and how much did you have to switch your life up in order to be able to make that change?

A quick glance at the labels on 90% of store bought things shows they've been spiked with the white but on the other hand self prep = better quality components for nicer meals with no extra crap thrown in but it comes at the cost of convenience so its a tightrope.

Definitely something I'm going to work on but unlike caffeine which I kicked cold turkey this seems like its going to have to be a dial down the intake over a period kind of thing before making that transition.

Diabetes, Hypertension, Sickle Cell Anemia, Heart disease, all run in my family so I try to eat healthily. I avoid overdoing it on the sugars like you mentioned op at one point in time it was considered a drug.

Sugar free. Or as sugar-free as I can get.

I don’t split hairs about small traces of sugar in things like deli meats, but I keep it to the minimum- under 2-3 grams.

And stevia helps the transition, though I don’t use it at all now.

Never really had much of a sweet tooth and I don't really like most breads.

I do got a pack of chocolate covered bananas from Trader Joes that I dip into once a week tho.

Alcohol though... that one gets me a few times a week.

Yeah I need to chill with the sugar intake but I notice the drop in energy fast. It’s hard to maintain that perk without it
