Mount Vernon is gay central on the weekends. Not sure if that bothers you or not, just a lil FYI.

weekends only breh? :skip: i go tot he DAC up there that area is le gay every damntime.

If you are gonna be the train why don't you try the essex/middle river (its baltimore county) area a little farther out east but public transport is easy and rents are definitely cheaper than 1100

I got a whip but, its a bucket :pachaha: That shyt will break down if i push it back & forth every day  So unless I plan on staying in DC real late, I'll be riding the Marc to and fro.

I'mma check out everywhere yall said though.

I grew up on the 1600 block of coldspring and that area isnt bad at all. Have you tried kensington gates on loch raven? Or you can go farther up to loch raven apartments (nothern pkwy) which right by the #3 bus that'll take you to Penn station. Many of the houses in the neighborhood adjacent to Morgan are actually apartments (kinda small tho).

thats where I be dont do that to that man my nikka lol...no north avenue from east to west.

Yup, I'm right off North. You don't wanna live in this area. North and Asquith. :pachaha:

If you want to stay in places with no drama like that, Canton is a nice place to live..... Also, Federal Hill would be ideal and is on the southern end of the city towards DC, only thing is it gets crazy there on the weekend with drunk college, yuppie kids, but your young maybe you'll be up for that.. Fed Hill is pretty cheap too, very reasonable..... Like somebody else already said, Mount Vernon is nice too

Since when is Federal Hill cheap? :usure:

It's nice out there, but I thought they got rid of STUDIOS for like $1300 out there. That's only cheap if you got that GOOD job right out of college or you got a room mate.

I'mma need to look more of that up.

the houses are real nice, with like a roommate or two.... rooms are nice size, and stuff like food and drink is reasonable there...... you go somewhere with two roommates, should be $650-800 for a nice place

Even a studio you could probably find for like $850

why live near Baltimore if you commuting to DC...

I'd just pony up and move closer to DC like in Laurel where you can find a place for a reasonable price and still be able to drive into DC within 25-30 minutes and still get to BMore in a half hour or less
