With the exception of "Tears of the Sun" (because I haven't seen it) all these movies are solid to great. The fact that Training Day has a 72% rating on Rotten Tomatoes while bullshyt like Moonrise Kingdom has a 94% is absurd.
Honestly, even "Brooklyn's Finest" was a decent movie *ducks tomatoes* or at least nowhere near as bad as the reviews would have you believe.
Fuqua is a master at building intensity through simple character interaction. I'd say he's right under Tarantino in this regard.
