I believe in a mix of Classical Liberalism and Social Democracy, no clue how you can be a Libertarian and not support gay marriage.

This is going to shock you but there is such a thing as a libertarian socialist and in fact is one of the oldest forms of libertarianism.

The terms we use in modern day American politics are not usually the correct terms in a political philosophy sense. "Conservative" and "Liberal" being two of them as well.

Federal Government should be used for:

- National Security
- International Security & Relations
- Trade Security with minimal intervention
- Protecting citizens from Extreme Corporatism & High IQ people that can "game the system" at the expense of others (minimal intervention in this area)
- Protect people from theft, fraud & aggression

The majority of Libertarians I've encountered on SOHH/The Coli and in real life (one of my good friends is a huge Ayn Rand fan) come across as Republicans who don't want to admit that they are Republicans because they know what that GOP shyt stands for in 2015.

If the GOP ever switches up its tone and becomes a little more sensible in terms of message and rhetoric, I fully expect them to drop the facade and just claim that "R" fully without the stigma of being a bigot, racist, or hateful prick.

1, I was never against gay marriage I just correctly stated it's not an issue that a black man should be overly concerned with. I'm not wrong on this and you all Still look funny style in all lights.

Libertarianism in this country started as a campaign by pro-business former Nazi sympathizers back in the 40s. Up until the 90s they had a lot of pro apartheid and pro-Holocaust deniers in their ranks.
