I didn't know that cat was a former Trump supporter. But, I am not surprised. I see a lot of immigrants switching up from being "conservative" (bootlicks, really) to Dems because of immigration. They fear being deported.
And immigrants really need to stop with the, "it's your culture that's the problem"
(1) If their culture was better, they wouldn't have left their homelands for a job and better living conditions in another country
(2) If their culture were better, their homelands would show that, but due to (1), we don't see it.
(3) We don't have a culture yet our culture is the backbone of American culture (not just the entertainment side) from foods to how we use our mother tongue, the English language (it is our language now), to STEM. There is no American culture without Freedman. But we also have subset cultures that are very popular across the world like our entertainment, especially r&b/hip-hop, and how we style ourselves that is imitated around the world.
Cats disrespect us while trying to look like us, then got the nerve to say "you didn't create those clothes!", we may not have created them but we did influence how to wear them/ how to style them.
(4) Pan-Africanism is a con-game played on Freedman people. If it ain't working on the continent, then it ain't working outside either. All those African nations with resources and they don't even help each other to the extent that Europe helps itself.

No religion subjected and enslaved Black people. Whites (mis)used Christianity as a tool just like they used the whipping post. Whites were using chattel slavery when they were pagans. Christianity has become a convenient excuse for why we were able to be kept in slavery for so long, but it wasn’t the reason.
