Highest Ceiling with the Lowest Floor, and right now he in the basement
Anthony Richardson has one of the highest ceilings we've ever seen for a QB

We need more young brehs playing baseball.
I'm convinced some brehs struggle at QB because they never really learn how to throw. Having a howitzer for an arm with a big body and athleticism is a great base...but not enough to be a great QB.
Marino, Aikman, Elway, Brees, Brady, Mahomes etc., all played baseball coming up and it really makes a difference. Think about a routine play that a 3B makes throwing to first. The frozen ropes they throw across the diamond...that shyt translates. More young brehs aspiring to be QBs really need to learn how to throw, perhaps outside of a football context. Ball placement and accuracy on short/intermediate throws >>>>> having a cannon and running 4.4

If you watched Richardson in college, you knew he was not ready for the NFL. He needs a minimum of 2 maybe 3 years of sitting and learning from a vet. No idea why Indy was so eager to put him out there.
coaches need to get some bass in their voice with these new QBs and just be real about the fact they're unplayable

Money. That’s why most teams throw their rookie qb’s to the wolves. Vast majority of teams looking for a qb in the first round are in rebuild mode meaning their stadiums are taking a hit due to poor fan showing. Fans are more likely to come out and watch with the hope of the qb changing the teams trajectory. There’s no guarantee that a qb will pan out by just sitting him. It’s a business at the end of the day and they need to make money. That’s my theory at least.
