I said many times on this site..NBA history has shown in that the lakers usually know how to merge young great players with future aging HOFs and the league almost always takes care of the lakers and celtics. Thats why they have 16 and 17 championships respectively.

Last the warriors run is over. The celtics have 17 championships and the lakers have 16 championships. No one has more than 6 championships outside of those two teams...no one. Only the bulls and warriors have 6 championships and the spurs next have 5. After that no team has 6 or 5 trophies.

So the odds are the warriors are done winning championships for a long long time outside of being a playoff team.
