If they're going to dump 3 1st-round picks in there, they should have been able to keep BI instead of Kuz. They had so much leverage with Rich Paul telling everyone AD was just a rental. Subpar trade for the Lakers.

Of course, if Lonzo stays Lonzo, BI doesn't hit the next level, and those other 1st-rounders end up to be late picks, it will look like a deal.

There’s no way in hell you can tell me that the Lakers won this trade. They traded all of this plus BI, hart, and Zo for one man and to keep Kuz, who’s already gonna be 24 (AD is 26). I don’t think keeping Kuz was worth it, he’s already close to his ceiling already.

And the craziest thing is that AD was on his way out anyway! NOP shouldn’t have had this much leverage, but you can thank KD and Klay going down for the price of the brick going up

I would've just gave them Kuzma

Keep in mind the 1and done rule will not be in play in 21 and Bron will be 38 in 2022.

Kuz might not make it past the deadline. Big gamble. But Los angeles is in prime position for the title

:francis: That’s a whole damn lot.

That could be something like what the nets did for 2-3 years for Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce
