Lakers won hard. They kept Kuzma and nobody's gonna miss the players they sent out; Lonzo shot is still broke, Ingram has medical concerns, Hart is okay. The Pelicans haul sucks outside of the fourth pick.

Use your brain for a second before rushing to hit post. They have the flexibility to flip all those assets for something else. They can easily get Washington on the phone and discuss Beal for example. This is a great haul

The Lakers won this trade. This is Anthony Davis we're talking about...yes Lonzo & Ingram were promising (especially Ingram) but they're nowhere near AD's level.

New Orleans ain't no better without Davis if anything they're somewhat Suns / T'Wolves level (at this moment) after this trade, and on ESPN's Facebook page some were saying the Pelicans will be top 4-5 next year in the west .


The Lakers can now add another top tier free agent to go along with Bron & AD.

Yeahhh and plus he regressed from his rookie season, I would’ve traded him and tried to see what I could do with AD for one season, better than being a treadmill 4/5 seed every year. Toronto just showed how a 1 year rental of superstar can workout.

I agree Tatum better be something if they keeping him but we have to remember it looks like Kyrie made his mind up on heading to Brooklyn. Ainge is a pumpfaker but AD, Hayward, Brown, and whatever else is probably another 2nd round exit at best. Then you only have AD for a year so.

I wasn't a big fan of Ingram in college. I wasn't a big fan of Ingram in the pros. If Ingram was as good as y'all think he is, Kuzma would be in this trade and not him. On top of that, he could be in line to get a big extension that he's probably not worth regardless of his health.

The ONLY silver lining to him in New Orleans is that he'll be the 3rd or 4th option he was destined to be.
