I’d take Giannis too but I might be in the minority
Giannis is a good example cause all he really did was get a new coach and get Lopez to play the way they want Thon Maker to play and now they a legit threat in the east...
LMA...as much as I despise him...has proven that if you just give him one guy who doesn't suck he can make the playoffs...when Oden never panned out and it was just him and Branndon Roy he was at least getting the the playoffs...then Roy knees gave out and he couldn't...but then SOON as they got Lillard who wasn't much else but a chucker when he first came in the league...back in the playoffs...dragged a terrible spurs team to the playoffs last year...keeping them afloat this year even though they started the year without their starting PG...back up PG...and starting Center...Demar missing his 3rd game in a row now by the way...
And AD can't at least do that...2 playoff appearances in 7 years and one of them literally came down to the last day...
Last year it was easy to tell Rondo was the leader...they listening to him in the huddle...he calling out all the defensive and offensive sets...he telling people where to go...dude would call a timeout and have all the players in the huddle and Gentry would not even get up off the bench sometimes...
Now Rondo gone and they back to being the same Pelicans...losing when AD don't play and barely winning when he do play...
Also didn't Boogie say they gave him the cold shoulder while AD was recruiting Randle to come play in NO...wasn't randall putting up crazy numbers coming off the bench before he got hurt...?
It's crazy how it's phrased that AD out here playing with bums and he got no choice but to leave...I just don't see it...not a championship team but LMA out here dragging the kyle anderson's and coming back from damn near career ending tony parkers of the world to the playoffs and AD can't do the same?
Looks like Denver is building at least a playoff team around Jokic, a bunch of 6"3" light skin dudes, and Will Barton...and AD can't even contend for the playoffs...something wrong...
