In the end I believe this deal still gets done. More time than not the lakers get the deal done throughout NBA history.
As i said before this league has always been a Lakers and celtics league. Everyone else is on borrowed time.
I wouldn't doubt the deal is basically done. But the pelicans and lakers are just trying to put the final touches in. Such as the final number if players and or draft picks involved.
