The Pelicans have a completely new FO, and the Lakers deal is still spilling everywhere.

Meanwhile, we know Boston are in negotiations but we have no idea what's being offered.

Sounds to me like the Lakers are just being messy and incompetent again.

Then, leaks about Lakers being pissed about leaks... lmao

Your dumbass does understand that kid is a twitter troll right? :mjlol:

Because this is a 1 man draft and we have the 1 man already; the talent drop off from #1 to 2, to 3 and then to the rest of the lottery is probably the highest of any draft in the 2010s and the players available at 4 would be available around 8-11+ in an actually good draft. Y'all already forgot that we won this lottery despite winning over 30 games; the days of being unabashed trash for year after year in the hopes of getting a pick that allows you to draft an actually good player are over. Being deliberately uncompetitive and trying to lose every possible game with the new lottery odds is for losers trying to build desolate cultures of perpetual losing like Phoenix.

Also NOLA's problem wasn't trying to win with young vets like Indiana and many teams have done with great success; it was throwing away first round pick after first round pick year after year to do so. We own all our picks now and going forward so that is no issue; Zion + the AD haul+ a couple good veteran players like Jrue to instill a sustainable winning culture + owning all our own picks= best foundation of any team not already competing for a title. It is what it is :manny::PierreUMad:
This is said about almost every draft and every draft has gems that get selected later in the night. Good front offices find those sleepers.

But they’re not getting a star for the 4th pick because of what you said so you might as well keep it because you never know who’s gonna be good

Flipping the 4th pick for a star? This I wanna see :heh:

Just cuz NO would deal Davis for it doesn’t mean someone else wants to give you a star for #4
I was thinking the same thing when I read that

“Star” what star you gonna get with this weak draft

Mike Conley ?

I can't wait for Anthony Davis to be traded so I don't have to hear about this anymore.

It’ll just be replaced with another.

Before AD it was Butler, before that it was Kawhi, before that it was Kyrie, before that it was Butler & George, before that Cousins, etc. etc. etc.

It’s become a never ending cycle

Oh it's definitely on to the next star player for sure but this shyt is becoming unbearable. The coverage wasn't this ridiculous for those other players. The LA/LeBron dynamic makes it a bigger story. Also didn't have the Rich Paul dynamic with those other players.
