If your the Pelicans, what do you have on your roster to build around for the long term that's not AD?
PG - Jrue
SG -
SF - Mirotic
PF - Randle
C
Everyone else is a rotational player in my mind.
If you trade with the Lakers, is Lonzo, Kuzma an Zubic and a 1st rounder going to make you better? Ball isn't a SG, and Kuzma plays where Randle/Mirotic play. You need a real wing with real upside. Do you put Ingram in instead of Ball?
PG - Jrue
SG - Ingram
SF - Mirotic
PF -Kuzma??
C- Randle??
That looks ugly AF to me.
If you trade with the Celtics, you could go after Horford to fill your C, and literally any of their wing players would be starting on your team (Rozier, Hayward, Brown, Tatum) not to mention the opportunity for far better pics in the pick ask.
PG - Jrue
SG - Brown/Rozier/Hayward/Tatum
SF - Mirotic
PF - Randle
C - Horford
Looks much more balanced and competitive to me.
Brooklyn could give you Caris LeVert/Spencer Dimwhittie, Jarret Allen and another body and would look better too in my mind.
PG - Jrue
SG - Caris Levert/Dimwittle
SF - Mirotic
PF - Randle
C - Jarret Allen
Lakers looks like the worst return based on the current roster to me.
