Summertime, babyDenni: When the father of a player harshly and publicly criticizes a player, as the general manager, you have to consider how that will affect your team, that can really do some serious harm, especially if you're competing for a playoff spot. When the father criticizes multiple players, it can ruin a team, especially when young players are involved. There's already potential problems with impending free agency, how much time I'm getting, how much will I get the ball, social media. We liked all the young talent, but thought it could be a serious problem for us that we were not equipped to handle. The Lakers with their history of managing stars and various personalities will be better able to handle any issues that may arise.
