I mean it ain’t gonna get much better than what the Lakers already offered. No WAY Magic caves into that ridiculous demand for all those first round picks.

I’m guessing unless something happens overnight (ala the Tobias Harris trade) then this trade is dead in the water. The crazy thing is i really wonder if the Pels have the balls to shut down AD for the entire rest of the season or risk letting him play.

Business is business and all but. AD spent 7 years with the team that drafted him and they've failed to field a team that truly compete for a title. And while they may not owe him anything it's also not a good look for future free agents in how they view the Pels. It's one thing to refuse to trade a guy to the team he wants if the offer is shyt, but the Lakers offer is the best that will be available. Pels obviously trying to spite the Lakers and are under pressure from other owners not to do this deal.
