a lot of things can and will happen by then. there is no guarantee that deal will be there and I think its a good chance it wont be.

btw...AD has been cleared to play, so what are the Pels going to do about that? shut him down for the rest of the season?

He's stated he'd play, to our media, but, they may shut him down.

I'm 45/55 that he'll play.

3. Memphis pick won’t convey. Could end up being 2 if the Clippers miss the playoffs

..At which point it becomes less protected in a stronger draft class in 2020. And if it doesn't convey then either, guess what???? Completely unprotected in 2021, potentially the first draft with star high school prospects in over a decade. The Memphis pick becomes a better asset if the Grizzlies keep it this year, not worse. No pick LA can offer until like 2025 has any hope of being better than it. And Boston got another pick better than any LA can offer with the Sacramento pick, along with 2 others this year alone too. And they got the better young prospect than any of LA's in Tatum...

If AD is guaranteeing he's committed long term if we send him to them, and we're building an in-conference superpower we'll have to play 4x a year against by handing him to them, AND we're turning down the chance of getting assets like that (don't even get me started if NY win the lottery...)???? LA better be sending 4 1sts and 2 2nds bare minimum for us to think about that fukkin poo poo platter. :mjlol::mjlol::ufdup:

If the Pels seriously turn down that deal then they are INSANE. Waiting until summer do they REALLY think the Celts are gonna offer them a better package? Is Tatum the equivalent of Bi, Zo, Kuz, Rondo, and a first PLUS Salary relief?

Alrhough i’ve NEVER been a Zo supporter and think that even now he’a overrated; Kuz and Bi have tremendous upside.

If I were Magic i wouldn’t budge on that deal. Take it or leave it. This whole “teams don’t wanna deal with the Lakers” bullshyt kinda reeks of :mjpls: because you have two BLACK MEN (Magic & Bron) utilizing their positions to better their situation. Just as ALL men have done since time began. If this were Jerry West as President and prime Dirk Nowitzki as the player, it would be “shrewd and calculating” business acumen for them doing what they need to do to get the player they WANT. Instead its “tampering and collusion” and every other begative connotation you can attach.

Newsflash this shyt ain’t NOTHING new. Cacs been doing busines like this to win since the dawn of competitive sports. Its a chess game, and Lebron setting himself up to get the pieces he believes he needs to win another championship. This is an EXTREMELY rare position for black men to be in, where they have the right amount of access, power, and leverage to utlize their talents to get what they want.

I just selfishly want the deal done so Lakers can decimate their roster be left with Wizard Jordan, Anthony Davis, and D-League players

They literally have 4 firsts in just this draft alone.

Boston is assets galore. LA isn't. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that.

I like Ball, I am not sure he will be a future all star but he can be a good NBA player long term and a quality two way PG. You have more need for Ball in the NBA than any other Laker not named LeBron.
they probably will put hayward in the package too lol

You and this “Wizard Jordan” talk:laff:

C’mon breh. You can’t SERIOUSLY believe Lebron is that level up of decline

:mjlol: I admit its funny. But seriously, I look at the Career Minutes played as an indicator of wear and tear

Lebron is Top 15 all time in minutes played
And get this, he's NUMBER ONE all time in playoff minutes played with 10,000+ and his career ain't even over yet

Lebron can't be compared to Jordan or Kareem who played into their 40s. He came out of high school, while the other two played 3 seasons of college ball
Lebron has already slipped defensively since last season. And even if he attempts to play defense it wears him out for the rest of the game

I mean, Wizard Jordan was still a really good player and was an All Star :yeshrug:
