-Be able to do advanced calisthenic movements(front/back lever, planche)
This is the kind of shyt I want to get into in 2017.... improve my agility and flexibility. But I gotta get lean first. Ultimate goal is to be able to do shoulder pushups and shyt. Maybe do some breakdancing :jbhmm:

Shoulder push-ups like pike pushups or planche pushups?

Breakdancing is cool. I thought about it but my core/full body strength is a long way off.

I spent most of the first half of this year getting my lost gains of 2014. Only was able to do calisthenics and cardio for Sept 2014-Jan 2015...finally came back in the gym around April...

My peak of squatting was in early 2014...was doing it 3x a week. Was maxing around 430ish. Now I struggle to hit 315 consistently.

Deadlifting...I've gotten slightly stronger can max around 545...

Bench...:mjcry: Can max only around 290-300lbs and I've been lifting for near 4 or 5 years. I can db. 125lbs., can dip 135lbs. but the bar is my weakness.

I've been lifting with no particular goal or plan...just free-styling and that as well as my diet is the reason I haven't reached my peak. Or maybe I have and I'm in denial. :jbhmm:

Shoulder damage...i've been ignoring the doctor's advice in laying off the weights. :manny:

Slight soreness in my left knee that comes when I play basketball...I'm done hooping at this weight. :dame:

Noticed I've been butt winking at times when I go low on squats so trying to develop ankle/ hip flexibility. Doing 275 want to do 310 low in the first few months

Otherwise pretty happy with the year. Decent gains in deads, squats, overhead presses, and overall gains.

2015 was the best year of my life. Dropped 30 pounds and started a healthy diet. Proud of what I accomplished this year. Got a well defined six pack for the first time in my life at 38. I even won a rec league basketball championship for the first time in 3 years. Playing against guys 15 to 20 years younger then me and out hustling them and working them.

Just looking to continue my new habits and continue to get better in 2016. Worked to hard to regress.

The gym section here has taught me a lot. Thanks for all the advice brehs. :salute:

Myself
2015 was up and down:

January I started off slow, but I did some running around on the court to keep some type of cardio going.
February was better for my lifting and I kept balling, but I had to fall back in March because of work.
April I picked it up, and decided to do more 5x5 lifts with my bench, squat, and dead-lift variations.

About middle of May I messed up my back playing ball, so I took some time off.
June and July was dedicated to eating better and rest; I worked a lot during the summer, and I wanted to make sure I was as close to 100% as possible before getting back into it. I did more stretching in the hot tub and epsomsalt baths.

August I got back into it, September I was consistent and seeing progress.
October was glorious most of the month:blessed:.
Hit 225lbs on my incline bench, my squats we're respectable, and my back was feeling great. Unfortunately, I had another minor setback and had to take some time to heal.

November I took the first week to relax, but I put in great work for the rest of the year.

Overall, I went from 205lbs in January, to 195lbs in the summer, and peaked at 225lbs by the end of November.
December I was a consistent 220lbs, pushing respectable weight, and feeling healthy.

2016 I want to gain strength while keeping my current weight. I will also concentrate on stretching and do a little more cardio
