I'm convinced that this is coming from Vince's long-stated disdain for ideas that weren't his or that he was forced into by circumstances beyond his control. Thus, anything that comes from NXT (even if it's a Triple H product) must be broken down and rebuilt in his image. I don't know how Triple H deals with it, honestly.
