Has Wallace ever played a down of football before in his life?

Dude looked LOST out there.

:snoop:

At least we got the win.

Jameis as the browns starter is much better than washed Watson

Jameis might give up his usual 2 pics a game but at least the browns players seem to feel much better with him at QB than watson
You say that until those picks turn into offense for the other team. All that goodwill will burn quickly.

They're stuck with Watson for at least 2 more years. Jameis actually brings something out of the other skill position players. Jeudy looked like a bust in Denver, man looked like a young Jerry Rice with Jameis throwing him the rock. Same with Elijah Moore.

Sign him to team friendly contract for 2 years, ride out the Watson deal, then revisit in 2027. No QB in the draft is going to be the savior there. Not a huge fan of Ward or Ewers, don't think Deion would let Shedeur go there

Which is all fine, but again you’re not going to win many games with your QB giving points to the other team and it’s a quick way for players in the locker room to sour on him regardless of the numbers he’s putting up.

Let’s not act as if this isn’t the reason why other teams have tossed him to the bushes. He’s literally part of the reason why they’re losing games.

They can't get rid of Watson. The solution at the QB position isn't in the draft for them this year. It's like blackjack - sometimes you get dealt a hand/position, no matter what your action, you lose.

Signing/playing Winston over a short term deal is the least bad of those options.

A lot of those guys are gone in the offseason due to their contracts (thanks Watson), so they’re literally better off going a cheaper option and seeing if he can be the guy for the future.

Jameis at this point is what he is and nothing is going to seem to change that.
