As a professional dancer, Julianne Hough is no stranger to elaborate costumes, but her Halloween getup — which she wore Friday night to the Casamigos Tequila Halloween Party in Beverly Hills — was a cringeworthy move.
As part of a group costume, the 25-year-old dressed up as Crazy Eyes from the Netflix hit dramedy "Orange Is the New Black," donning full blackface with her prison-gear ensemble, complete with jumpsuit, badge, and her hair in Crazy Eyes's signature knots.

There are a ton of comments already on the Yahoo! post. The usual 'get over it' 'blacks are too sensitive' comments seem to be the response. There were also quite a few 'I'm black and this doesn't bother me' posts. That brings to me ask to ask this question: Is this offensive to you? Not a big deal? Why or why not? :lupe:

There is gonna be a big racial explosion in our life time.

Not at all. Black people are pretty pacified. This forum denounces any discussion of potential black solidarity or black people collectively positioning themselves higher for the future.

You had Oscar Grant, Sean Bell, Trayvon Martin and countless other examples and opportunity. Across America there are halloween parties going on right now with nothing but black face and a lot of the party goers are black and completely ignoring it for fear of checking and losing their non-black friends. Black people lost. :flabbynsick:

I agree with you, we are comfortable right now. Us black folks that browse the internet regularly are seeing more and more stories about white people treating us like shyt. I just think were seeing it first but eventually all black people in the "real world" will start seeing the trend too and a boiling point will come.

I see no issue with it. None whatsoever.

You want to know what black people should be mad at? Ask me and I will tell you something..

Maybe we need to start dressing in white face.

nah, there needs to be some big swole nicca who goes to these industry parties and other mostly cac parties dressed in a 18th century farmer type getup. dude will carry a whip and some chains. when he sees a cac dressed up in blackface, he should chase em around the room while yelling "youse a ****** nah, come on, we goin' back to mista charlie!"
