Go to financial journalists for your economic forecasts :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Your own article points out that consensus growth estimate for next year is 3%. I'm guessing you missed that part.

" Nor will it persist for very long. The US recovery is already mature — there is no Clinton-style middle class boom around the corner. In spite of seven years of zero interest rates, the US has yet to clear the 3 per cent growth milestone. Free money does not go far nowadays. Long run trend growth has fallen from above 3 per cent to about 2 per cent. The US middle class has yet to regain its pre-2008 median income levels. It would take several years of 3 per cent growth for that to occur."

again, why are you getting your forecasts for medium term growth from a journalist? Post smileys and quotes because you're out of your element here.

Everyone knows most incremental growth is coming from emerging economies. That's why they're emerging. The article you linked me to was no by an economist and the tweets you posted are about 2015 and do not contradict what I said.

could you imagine how fukked the world would be if in the next 10 years the US & EU contributed close to 55% to global growth and emerging Asian economies only contributed less than 20%?

quoting this because potier dapped it and i don't think he understands why you had to post this.

No, I fully understand why he posted it. The initial conversation was about the BRICS so maybe you need to figure out why I said what I said.

EU (besides Germany) and Japan are in endless stagnation going forward so to paint it as "the 1st world have lower growth because it is developed" is delusional at best. America will eat but I cannot say the same for you Europeans.
