How do I know? I used to work in brand risk management for a financial institution and when payments are sent for unknown or strange reasons, my department was the one that shut down people's accounts, and reported it to another department which did an even deeper investigation and cooperated with authorities all over the world to see if/where the crime was committed and who could be prosecuted. My job was basically to see if your account was engaging in risky behavior that was damaging to the brand. Therefore if you got arrested for distributing or collecting child porn could there be a big headline that says "Man uses Chase Bank account to buy $10,000 worth of child pornography" which by the time shyt hit the fan you were already flagged and account closed. Rather than the company being caught and reacting.

Or if you were selling or buying drugs or guns we'd lock accounts therefore you can't move your money while people investigate.

You gotta put the work in and build your self esteem and confidence in yourself. Even something as little as doing community service will make you feel good, and in turn you don't even focus on negative society. Once you do those things, nothing people say will get you down. And when people see how you move, they'll feel stupid.
