When they announced this tour I was shocked. Why?

Because I remember like 10-12 years ago when Babyface was suing Anita bc she never paid him for song he wrote and produced for her. I guess Face must have let bygones be bygones, but now we see the same type of mess.

Furthermore, Babyface can headline by himself bc he has a plethora of hits and songs he wrote.

I was at the show. It wasn't her fault. The Venue screwed us over. She wasn't late. As the headliner She came on at the time she was supposed to, 9:15ish. Babyface was supposed to come on at 7pm but the venue was having technical difficulties by the time they figured everything out it was almost 9:00, so unfortunately, he couldn't perform or the show would have still been going on. The mics and sound was horrible. She had to keep on correcting the engineers throughout the show. I will never go back to that venue. Let's stop with the narrative that she was being a diva. It was simply out of her hands. This fell on the venue and promoters. Babyface was probably asked not to perform. Because he wasn't the headliner. I was upset and will be calling ticket master for a refund but let's stop with the "oh Anita was being a diva" oh Anita was late because that wasn't the case.

I think Anita got turned down like 8 times before getting signed to a record company because they thought her voice was too deep. Maybe she still had a chip on her shoulder. Lol
