Two season revival, targeting premiere this Fall on Hulu

Animaniacs revival to reunite the original voice cast, targeting Fall 2020 premiere

Back in 2017 it was announced that Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment was working on a revival of the beloved 90s cartoon series Animaniacs, which subsequently received a two-season order from Hulu.

We’ve heard very little in the way of news from the project in the years since, but now comes word that original voice actors Rob Paulse, Jess Harnell and Tress MacNeille are set to return as Yakko, Wakko and Dot, while Pinky and the Brain will also be back to continue their quest to take over the world.

Steven Spileberg is executive producing the new series alongside Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank of Amblin Television and Sam Register of Warner Bros. Animation.

In addition to the casting news, it has also been announced that Hulu has become the exclusive streaming home of the original Animaniacs series, as well as the spinoffs Pinky and the Brain, Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain, and the original Tiny Toon Adventures series.

The new Animaniacs is said to be targeting a fall 2020 premiere.
