The school campus in town is full of deer who have come to realize no one can hunt there. Joggers go by and they don't move. I took this from my car a while back...

In Australia it is not just our own wildlife we have to contend with, we also get drop ins from elsewhere. Recently an emperor penguin from the Antarctic turned up in Western Australia. See photo below of him have rehabilitation before being returned.

Wow, I'm good with wild animals, and I've never had a fox get that near to me.
This is coming from a shaman who once walked over and petted a wild deer that was in someone's backyard. (It was a double dog dare I couldn't say no). And I have had the Downy woodpeckers I feed land on me.

My initial response was a Monty Python reference. After years of watching Trailer Park Boys & Letterkenny, my response would be, "How are ya now, got some jerky or a spare dart?"

So very beautiful. Mr K and I were watching yesterday a programme on nature and you could tell that the female fox new the person filming from previous visits so she allowed her baby foxes (I am sure there is a word for that) to get closer to him. Beautiful trust!
