Nah J always had the potential to be a killer. Dude was way too quiet and calm in situation where his uncles(except baz) were freaking out.:pachaha:

So him taking out the lawyer was not surprising.

Mias face while fukking dude was :merchant:

Smurf knows, I wonder what she's waiting for in handling J. Also wonder how pope will be towards her. Hes clearly still torn up over lena.

Also, did frankie skip out with the money on craig? Couldn't tell. denis leary's character was a disappointment. They played him up a lot in the previews for the season and didnt seem too important in the grand scheme of things.

I don't think Frankie got paid yet for any of that, she explained the whole process of selling it off little by little.

Dennis Learys character did what he was supposed to, filled in that empty space created by Smurf being in jail. He was a junky who came up with a good idea, but ultimately showed his true colors. I was fine with his cameo.

I think Smurf giving all the boys separate properties was her way of telling J she knows. I'm pretty sure the properties he "received" are the ones he already sold :mjlol: and the watch she gave him that was meant for Baz was another subliminal, "For My Very Smart Boy" aka the one that was too smart for his own good and had to get handled

What I'm trying to figure out is why does J have such contempt for her. He doesn't know she killed Baz, she basically gave him a second chance at life after his mom died, she hasn't been ripping him off for an extended period of time like the others. His hate for her just seems weird.

I meant did frankie pretty much use him and then ghosted him with the product after getting him high or did she just leave before he could wake up?

And I'm going to assume J despises her because of his mom. He probably thinks she was a junkie because of smurf and holds resentment towards her for it. Though the writers really havent done a good job in explaining why. Its probably just him finally realizing she really doesnt care about any of the kids while being in that house. Think of all the stuff hes seen and heard from the uncles and her. Hes probably putting together that baz was killed by her after sending him to get lucy with no protection or backup.

Season 1: J chooses the family over the cops because even though his mom Julia hated the family, she hated cops even more and she and J would always be Codys at the end of the day

Season 2: Nicky asks J if it ever made him angry that his uncles lived like kings while he and his mom struggled for everything, and he tells her that he's always angry

Season 3: J goes from paying for Smurf's protection in prison to wanting to take everything away from her

How did we get here?

exactly. I enjoyed season 3, but that last scene with J spilling his true feelings about Smurf just felt completely out of place.

It makes even less sense when you consider he went out of his way to protect her in jail like you said and during the shootout. Let her catch a cap or two and everything he wants is there for the taking :mjlol:
