I forget you have to check it twice a day before noon and after. I think I bought mine for 93. Then I finally upgraded the resident services building and can create new bridges and ramps... that shyt expensive good lord I can't even purchase the basic wooden bridge right now

I don't know how some people got their island looking like a full blown city and I'm struggling to get basic supplies with these damn islanders they gave me.
Once you get past the initial 30 iron nuggets and shyt like that and you get more miles its becomes easier. At this point I don't even go to islands to farm for mats anymore, I got for flowers or tarantulas. It naturally stockpiled for me and I was crafting a decent amount. After a few Nook Mile trips in a row you shouldn't really be hurting for mats anymore.
Now bells on the other hand...

Mats is just short for materials, which is just the iron nuggets, stone, tree branches, etc.
Turnip lady will visit your island and you can only cop from her.

I invested about 120k. Im trying to hold out for at least a 300+ buyout. Just remember though, they spoil in 1 week, so if you haven't found a good price by Saturday, go ahead and sell to cut your losses. I joined a animal crossing discord to find people with good prices, these punk ass bytches asking for 100k 'tips' and shyt just to get into their islands, fukk that.
