The WWE has issued a response to WrestlingInc.com owner Raj Giri's exclusive story about the company testing members of the RAW roster for the mumps. In an email, a WWE official sent a link to a press release announcing major changes to Sunday's TLC pay-per-view and later sent this official statement:
"We have confirmed that three of our performers have been diagnosed with a viral infection. As a precautionary measure, we are ensuring in-ring performers and staff are tested and immunized in accordance with recommended medical guidelines."
WWE had apparently originally tested some talent for viral meningitis, and discovered that the illness is believed to be the mumps. Mumps usually takes several days to a week to disappear, so it is unclear how long the infected superstars will be out of action. Since the infected superstars are part of the RAW roster, it is not yet known if SmackDown talent will also be tested for the virus.

during Angle’s HOF speech. And at best we would think his in ring return would be a one time thing at next year’s WM. But NAH. They inserted him without warning in a TLC match

Look at the other options they got for Roman replacement though. Angle at least has beef with Miz and partially with Braun. A 2 on 5 match would be ridiculous. Big Show joining them would get shyt on. Samoa Joe turning face and joining them would be something. HHH turning face and joining them would be intriguing. Brock joining the main event would be best bet for all but he couldn’t be assed to do anything on 2 day notice. I mean Rock had his return match tagging WITH Cena at a survivor series before mania and it did nothing to hurt mania, so WWE is alright as long as Kurt doesn’t get fukked up

@ people asking why not Triple H? Two days is far too short notice for him because you know the man doesn't start his Wrestlemania roid cycle until Survivor Series.These last minute promos are probably much better than they would have scripted if they had weeks to their own devices. Reminds me of when they had the first Reigns/Lesnar face to face at WWE studios because of a snowstorm and it was much better, the sudden nature cut out the bullshyt
