It was always meant as a diss. Of course Deathrow would tell u otherwise but that's what gangsters do. Reasure the public its all good and there's no problem:pachaha:. Theses new nikkas cut from a different cloth thry tell on themselves in social media:skip:90's gangsters downplayed shyt in public and act like there was no issue:win:

It was a tribute song originally

Never meant to be a diss. There isn't a single diss on the entire record

Ed Lover been a snake. I can’t wait to see that old Rap City footage of him chillin with B.I.G & mocking 2Pac after Pac died.

:pacspit:

We definitley need that,I'm now aware of this footage, what was he doing?

Had to pause it a minute and change in.

About the NY NY vid, I may be mistaken, but didn't Snoop and them say they didn't shoot the footage of Snoop kicking down the buildings until after Big had them Red Hook nikkas shoot up the set?

The song itself was meant as a tribute.

"New York, New York big city of dreams, but everything in New York ain't always what it seems (it's gutter, gangsta), you might get fooled if you come from out of town, but I'm down by law, and from the Dogg Pound"

Those New York nikkas didn't even know that hook comes from a Furious 5 song. If they knew their history like Snoop they would have known it wasn't a diss record. Or maybe they would still have insisted I don't know. They will still never admit that "Who Shot Ya" was a diss record though.

Pac was a gracious host, got her a New York pizza,a hotel, and her ungrateful ass still won't release this interview, she sure at that pizza and smoked that blunt though:martin:. We all know the real reason is because she saw the reaction Monie got,and how she was seen as a traitor, she wanted no parts of that. She's not a real journalist, she would rather keep her New York friends happy. Pac is dead and Puffy is still valuable to her,so she's not going to bite a hand that feeds her.

"Everytime he thinks of getting back with her, every time he thinks of his wedding ceremony,he thinks of me fukking his wife"

:laff:

I know its not popular to say,but everybody involved in this had a bullet coming to them for one reason or the other, but nobody wants to admit it.. You can be a Biggie and Pac stan like I am,and admit they both had it coming. You just wish that it wouldn't have happened.

that song was never meant as a tribute Breh....they was throwing what we call shade at NYC back then, and it was fairly obvious, clever and subte but not so subtle

Smh...the intro to the song on the album mocks New Yorkers and their slang, how is that a tribute lol

Everybody has a New York and a Cali imitation,it will always sound over the top if your not from those places because it has to so that you know who they are imitating:comeon:

Now this was a mockery.

The fact Cube cleaned up Masta Ace and Common in one song doesn't get acknowledged enough imo.
