I don't live in Germany, but they have the strongest economy in the EU, social programs seem to support most of the population, life seems balanced, and they seemingly have money in the bank without fukking over everyone else to do it.
Seems ideal to me.
I'm not oblivious to the fact that they've been able to do this with the US acting as their big brother.
