I remember my dad always playing her tape in the car. This was my favorite song. I was always mesmerized at the spanish part towards the end of the song. I had no concept of afro-latino as a kid .

My uncle told me a story about meeting her in college.
Homecoming concert had Angela Bofill, Whoodini and some other artist.
Basketball team was backstage kicking it with the artist.
