I agree with you, in 2023 modern phones are pretty much the same, but let's be honest, most people don't care about the bolded.Honestly they both have mature and robust ecosystems. Great options with either route that you take.

Most people I know that have androids have some super outdated shyt, that they only use to text/call, social media and porn. Because they truly don't care about technology like that. The funny thing is they'd spend $1000≥ buying p*ssy a few times a month instead of getting a decent phone
I got an iPhone for work, and my main phone is an Android only because I'm too cheap to pay for YouTube, Spotify, snapchat and other apks
Honestly I used to be #TeamDroid from like 08-18. Then I bought and iPhone 8 for the hell of it and been #TeamApple since. It just works.. I used to be a Samsung rep telling mad people about how their iPhone doesn’t have expandable storage, it’s hard to find saved documents, how you can’t root your phone, and install game emulators.
Once I switched I see why people stick with iPhones, they just do basic phone stuff efficiently... No more stupid ass force closing apps or weird android bugs. Plus you can FaceTime, all your profiles sync across your MacBook with and ease. Plus they get damn near any social media platform that most people use.
