Because back in 2015-2018 people kept on finding reasons not to support new and fresh dem candidates like Yang and Bernie :yeshrug:

It was Hilary or nothing for too many people and it ruined those other candidates' prospects :yeshrug:
That’s the toughest pill to swallow; Dems did have new blood on deck— the ppl didn’t support them.

The weirdest thing is that many people did support the new blood - they just got shamed out of it by establishment dem voters, and by the dnc soft rigging the primaries
That too.

It should’ve been Bernie

If ENOUGH ppl pushed back against the party we might’ve made it happen. Same way republicans didn’t really want Trump, but MAGA emerged and pushed the party to accept Trump. They didn’t want to give him the nomination.
Well, there’s the difference between. Republican voters wanted Trump. Dem voters didn’t really want Bernie Sanders and Socialism following Obama and wanted to continue down that path of incremental change to improve society.

But you know all that.

Majority of people supported his policies in blind tests. The issue was that the "left" mainstream media told the people that Bernie was the worst candidate, had pie in the sky policies, wasn't pragmatic, and all of his followers were white college bros
