I didn't doubt Wiggins. I called it like I saw it. He sucked the first 6 weeks. That's being honest. When he played better he got credit for playing better even though the team sucked. Now the team looks somewhat competitive and he's still growing. That's not doubting him. I set my goals for him at 13 w/42% shooting. He's exceeded that.

Zach on the other hand sucked. That's not my bias or my opinion. That's a fact. He's not doing anything different than what he did in college where he also, sucked. Now that Wiggins looks more like a SG, Zach is more and more fukked in terms of finding a starting role long term because Zach can't run point. Flip is almost sure of this now (almost because I can't underrate his stubbornness), God help you and Zach if Flip opts to go Mudiay or Russell which I can't dismiss. I really wish I was wrong about this, but waiting 4 years for someone to at best develop into somebody else's backup is a waste of time.

and now that we've lowered expectations from Westbrook to Crawford, ask Bulls fans what happened to Crawford when after 4 years of injuries and ineffectiveness he finally figured it out?

they're both 19 years old FOOL. its hilarious how you're judging Wiggins and Lavine more harshly than a grizzled vet like Kevin Love last year. I remember you reaching for every exucse in the book for him last year but now you're shytting on 19 year old kids with mad potential at every turn.

I know being a t-wolves fan has been traumatic for the last 10 years but you gotta regain some sanity breh. the wolves future has not looked this bright since KG and Marbury were together.

Lavine doesn't really use his athleticism that well either unless it's open floor. He doesn't like to drive because he can't deal with contact.

Believe it not or I got criticized A LOT for criticizing Love and none of y'all understood why, so I'll continue to wait for y'all to get your stories straight on this.

I guess not because I think his shot is good with the potential to be great given that he gets grat elevation and has a nice stroke. his handle is good enough, especially in comparison to wiggins.

realistically the only "skill" he's missing IMO is the maturity and knowledge that comes with experience. the only physical thing he's missing is more strength. I think he's got as much potential as anyone in the 2014 class outside of wiggins. he'll be great in DUE TIME.

Wiggins is an awful ball handler though. He's learning to make use of his length and quickness from first step to get his points off, not ball handling.

Lavine is barely average at ball-handling. He's nowhere near good enough to be a PG nor is he anywhere near Crawford-esque potential.

Lavine is an all-star in the same way Javale McGee Could be an all-star if he reached his potential. Lavine is very VERY raw in basketball skills. He's blessed with otherworldly jumping ability and body control (mid air) but he has no touch around the rim plus he's relatively weak. His agility is good for dunk contests but it's not very good on the floor and he has trouble maneuvering around even single defenders on the perimeter.

I judged him on the games he played then, not his future. Am I supposed to not be honest about how he played those first 6 weeks? It had nothing to do with his ppg because you can ask @Malta how little I cared for it when we were losing 15 in a row.

as for missing 3 starters, let y'all tell it, two of them shouldn't be here anymore (Pek and Martin) and the other one fukking sucks and should lost his spot to LaVine. Using that line of thinking, what did we miss? :skip:

His slow start had more to do with the situation than him...Im not going to give Rubio more praise then he deserves but at least he does get him the ball and understands the importance of that....Alot of those early season struggles with Rubio out was nothing more than selfish ass teammates...Im glad they got two of em outta there...

I was judging Wiggins on how he played and what he could do.

He didn't assert himself enough when everyone else was urging him to do so (he still does this now at times). That and aside from scoring he didn't do shyt (didn't rebound, didn't pass). Slowly, he's asserting himself there as well as he's realizing that he's not gonna be iso'd up all night.

You was calling him overrated and not very good when he had a couple of bad games like half the board...

Even when he wasnt assertive or putting stats he showed potential but you was salty from the losing so it didnt matter :russ:

it doesn't help that Flip has surrounidng him with selfish players focused on their individual stats. Kevin Martin is a CANCER all he does is gun. Pekovic is fat, slow, and clogs the paint. Rubio is selfish in the same way Rondo is. all he cares about are his assist numbers. mo williams before he got traded was also a selfish gunner.

IMO all these nikkas should be traded. Wiggins, Lavine, Dieng, and Shabazz are the only guys i'd keep going forward.

i called him unimpressive, which he was (and it was 6 weeks of it, not no couple of games here and there), and had we not looked as noncompetitive I wouldn't have cared about how unimpressive he was.

check out the 33 sec. mark :banderas:

the kid's already mastered the Kobe fadeaway. he's the next one ya'll.

I think the Cavs regret trading him. They could have found a way to make it work. LeBron is good at sharing the ball on the court. But i understand business first.
  • First we were denied Carter/T-Mac
  • Then we were denied TMac/Grant Hill
  • Now we're being denied LeBron Wiggins
At least we lived to see MJ/Pippen and Lebron/Wade while Wade was still healthy. But over the years there have been man wing super-duos that would have blessed Bball fans with great play but denied either by greed or Injuries.:mjcry:

This nikka @tremonthustler1 is lying :stopitslime:. I vividly remember you sh1tty on Wiggins after his first month while other posters were telling you to be patient cause it was only his first month and he was 19:comeon:. Be real, you jumped the gun and you were hating. Just eat your crow and move on :beli:

Have I not been saying he sucked the first 6 weeks of the season and that I was unimpressed by him? I'm not exactly hiding this opinion.

If not being irrationally excited about the inconsistent play of a bunch of kids who weren't learning shyt while losing nightly makes me a hater, I'll bee dat. But I'll tell you this: unless you're a hardcore Dubs fan who sat through 16 straight years of futility you couldn't understand why I'm disenchanted with the entire process. This shyt ain't fun and this late into it, it's not supposed to be.
