Not even throwing shade but it’s crazy how not one of these guys mentioned here turned out to be star quality (Wiggins, Walker, Harrison, Randle, Okafor, Hill)

I think Jabari was the best of the bunch mentioned here but injuries wrecked him

I still can't believe Jah never worked on his weaknesses even when his career depended on it. He's going to be in China next year.

I can understand how @Malta was high on Chris Walker. Damn shame what happened to him at Florida. Was always in trouble academically. Got suspended for weed. Got signed by the Rockets, but the Rockets cut him once they saw how raw he was. It's been three years since he's declared for the draft, and he's just starting to look like he could be a contributor somewhere. I saw him play a few times for the Rockets G-League team. He can definitely play, but the Rockets prioritize their three prospects over him down there (Qi, Onuaku, Hartenstein). He has zero offensive game, but he has a high motor, rebounds and gets a lot of blocks when he gets to play. Somebody will give him a chance someday. Every team needs an energy guy who can defend.

They do have their own PF/C prospects to develop though. Onuaku has been in their farm system for a couple of years now and has played well down there. Zhou Qi is basically the Chinese version of Bebe, except he's even more thin. They own the rights to Isaiah Hartenstein, and Hartenstein was a highly touted prospect a couple of years ago before teams soured on him.

We'll see what happens with Chris Walker. He's still very raw. He might have to go to Europe to get minutes and come back more polished to get a roster spot. Looks like he's playing in the DR until the summer league starts.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
I’ve thrown several shots at Wiggins here since his Kansas days. He has the physical tools to be a beast but we all know it’s his mindset and the lack of work he puts in off the court. I never thought he loved this game.

A prospect not living up to expectations shouldn’t warrant clowning as there are several factors that play into it and how their careers pan out.

I thought Cleveland trading him away the way they did would light a major spark and raise his ceiling.

All this drip on me
Damn this thread did not age well. It's almost sad how all of the names mentioned haven't come close to living up to their athletic potential.

I still expect moving forward at least one or two out of the names will develop into something bigger than what they are currently though. There's still time for them to improve.
