Lol what the fukk did I miss? Since when is shultz alt right? Ive been a fan of comedy for my whole life and this dude is 100% a legit comedian. He talks shyt about EVERYBODY no matter the race, color or religion he throws his jabs and you gotta respect him for that. Hes gotten punched in the face before during a stand up thats how hard he goes :heh:

But im lost on the alt right part, someone point me in the right direction so I can check it out

Anyway, this shyt was funny. a bit too quick but a lot of great punchlines in there

I think that’s the best part. For me it comes across more natural. Imagine listening to someone’s monologue and they pause every 5 seconds for the joke to settle in. It would work with a laugh track or a live audience, but this isn’t that. Andrew dropping a joke with every sentence, so it probably has to flow fast to be effective. Besides, I liken it to hip hop back when rappers actually dropped substances in their bars. Sometimes you gotta rewind that song to catch a bar, and Andrew is dropping bars.

And I am fan.
It's not natural though, I'm not sure if his intent was to be informative or funny, but the pass was way to fast to be either.
I'm not saying slow it down 100%, I think his Instagram videos of the same format was a little more intentioned and deliberate.

It’s weird. I actually like Schultz’s standup. He’s really good at riffing with the audience. But I hate everything else he does lol. I’ve never seen another comedian be genuinely funny at standup and be so painfully unfunny in everything else
His standup is 90 percent making fun of the audience
Hes trash bro ..i tried giving it a lesson

Exactly! I could see myself being a fan if I only knew him from standup and could block out his other ventures that made me dislike him in the first place.

I like Schulz, I think he's one of the funniest on the come up. At one point I thought he was alt-right. He just takes the contrarian shtick too far sometimes. As far as this, I was expecting a stand-up. He's been doing these 4 minute bits on YouTube for the last 6 months for free. And while, I thought these bits were thought-provoking, 16-20 minutes of rapid fire John Oliver takes is a bit too much.

I'm looking for to more from him, but an hour of this is a bit too much in this format.

I watched episode 1, and I get that it’s the whole IGTV thing he did....but I can’t sit through four of these for 15 minutes each.

It’s just a lot of info, very quick and not something I’d want to watch more than once to catch whatever I might’ve missed.

It’s definitely clever and good writing, but one of those things where I say, “alright already” after a few minutes.

thought the special was brilliant , jokes were well written had usually had multiple layers to them
I watched this blazed so i constantly had the :dwillhuh: face when jokes would hit me when he already moved on to the next joke
I could see how the format would be too fast and dense for some people but if you are sharp and up to date on current pop culture the layers of the jokes should hit even if it's a delayed reaction
