Just read the article. Didn't come off as smooth as I expected it to be:
  • Wife imo insinuated she is still with him because of the kids and because he is trying
  • It was interesting/sad seeing how his wife and political team forced him to stay in the closet earlier in his career. He likely would've lost but he wouldn't have had to repress his sexuality. (Not that it excuses his drug-addled infidelity)
  • The fact that the Gillums canceled their follow up interview after the reporter attempted to confirm facts with the 3rd party is sloppy on their end.

He would still do well with the black community in Florida, but how well would he do with the Hispanic community in a election.
I disagree. He's not retaining all the support he had in 2018 with what happened. How often do black women give passes to a man stepping out on another black woman? Then you throw in the fact he cheated with a dude and that's bound to turn off at least a small % of people

This right here. I also like that you omitted the Meth as being a red line because it's Florida.

Angela Rye has mastered the art of being a perceived expert while being great at nothing. She’s a lawyer who has never really practiced at any level but was on ESPN giving legal analysis, she’s a policy person who has never been an organizer of anything of mention, etc. I’m not quite sure who the audience is for any of these people.

I don't really know her background at all, aside from the Breakfast Club interviews from years back, but this is A LOT of people now. Great point. My answer would be the audience is people exactly like 'her', in the sense that they are not anything of those things either, and that's why they connect and so many connect with people who aren't really qualified for much

Not that everyone needs a degree to be of any value or input

but look at Joe Rogan. Wildly popular and besides being a modestly successful comedian, actor, reality show host, is now espousing all sorts of theories on everything from Mexican drug cartels, COVID vaccines, to theology.

I don’t disagree. More than ever before people are looking to be affirmed instead of informed.
