All this is true, but Ward is a master at smothering fighters and dictating the pace and range of the fight. Regardless of his power and skill level I think Ward is a tall order for Kovalev. The handspeed, defense, and boxing ability are all huge in Wards favor. Plus that dirty roughhouse style frustrates the hell out of other fighters and throws them off their gameplan. Dude is baby BHop. Unless he really hurts Ward with a shot I see Kovalev getting outclassed.
